Evan Gordon's buzzer-beating layup in overtime lifted Arizona State past Colorado 63-62 Saturday night, his first game in coming off the bench this year.

Gordon's game-winner came after Spencer Dinwiddie's bucket with 8.3 seconds left had given the Buffaloes a 62-61 lead. Gordon finished with 14 points.

Jahii Carson's 18 points led the Sun Devils (19-7, 8-5 Pac-12), which won for the first time in four tries in Boulder and swept the season series against the Buffaloes.

ASU had used the same starting lineup for the first 24 games but wanted to get some more scoring off the bench, so Gordon came off the bench and played 30 minutes and had 14 points, including 4-of-8 from the three-point stripe. ASU entered the game as only one of six Divison I teams to use the same starting lineup in every game.

It was just the sixth loss in 48 home games under Colorado coach Tad Boyle.

Dinwiddie led Colorado (17-8, 7-6) with 24 points and Askia Booker added 17 to break out of a four-game shooting slump.

The game was tied at 52 at the end of regulation following a furious rally by Colorado from a 54-48 deficit with 1:19 left. The Buffs tied the game on Xavier Johnson's dunk with 2.5 seconds left and Carrick Felix missed a potential game-winner at the buzzer.

ASU moved to 3-0 in overtime, as it defeated Utah (55-54 on Jan. 2) and USC (98-93 on Jan. 24) in overtime already this year.
