The Sun Devils, led by Jon Rahm Rodriguez for the second-straight tournament along with Alberto Sanchez, are tied for 7th-place through a rain-shortened first two rounds in North Plains, Ore. While some golfers completed both rounds, others remained on the course at the time the tournament had to be postponed for darkness.
Rahm Rodriguez, after shooting a five-over par 77 in the first round, is shooting seven-under par through 15 holes in round two. He is currently two-under par. This would be the best round of the tournament thus far if he completes the round with no bogeys. Sanchez, also two-under par, shot one-over through the first round but currently sits at three-under par going into the 17th hole to finish his round tomorrow. The two are tied for 17th-place.
Mathias Schjoelberg finished the first round at one-under, but is three-over through 17 holes in round two. He is tied for 31st. Spencer Lawson is tied for 37th at four-over par, while Austin Quick is six-over par and tied for 43rd.
Cal leads all schools at 18-under par while USC and Washington are tied for second at 16-under. ASU collectively shot an even par.
The second round will resume tomorrow morning for a winner to be eventually crowned at the day's end. Live stats will be available at Golfstat.com.
