TEMPE, Ariz. -- Continuing in its effort to showcase the games and events that matter most to the regional sports fan, Fox Sports Net today added a game from next week's Arizona State/Florida State baseball series to its telecast schedule.
In a match-up that features two the country's top collegiate baseball programs, the Sun Devils and Seminoles meet on FSN next Saturday, February 16, at 12:00 p.m. in Dick Howser Stadium. It's the middle game of three-game series between these teams.
After the game at 3:00 p.m., the latest edition of Fox Sports Net's bi-weekly magazine show about ASU athletics -- RUNNIN' WITH THE SUN DEVILS - has also been added to the day's telecast schedule.
The Arizona State baseball team is currently 4-0 on the season and ranked No. 18 in the country, while Florida State is 6-1 and ranked No. 6 this week. The Sun Devils host Tennessee at Hohokam Park in Mesa this weekend before traveling to Tallahassee for next week's series.
Gene Deckerhoff is scheduled to do the play-by-play for the telecast and Tom Block handles the analysis.
The On Deck Circle, ASU Baseball's official booster club, tentatively has plans to watch the game as a group at McDuffy's Sports Bar in Tempe. More information will follow on that event.
