TEMPE, Ariz. - Eleven Arizona State University women's soccer players were recognized by the Pac-12 for their work in the classroom as the conference announced its annual All-Academic Teams.

ASU's three first-team members - junior Kaitlyn Pavlovich (3.96 GPA), junior Jasmine Roth (4.05 GPA) and senior Nicki Stone (4.04 GPA) - tied for most in the conference.

Stone (Tourism Development and Management major) is earning first-team recognition for the third year in a row, the maximum possible number for a student-athlete.

Roth (Biochemistry) and Pavlovich (Elementary Education) are both earning first-team distinction for the second year in a row.

ASU's 16 first-team honorees over the last five years are the most of any school in the Pac-12 during that span.

Holland Crook (3.78 GPA/Educational Studies), who earned second-team honors, is receiving Pac-12 All-Academic recognition for the second year in a row, as she was an honorable mention recipient last year.

The Sun Devils also had seven student-athletes named to the honorable mention list: seniors Alyssa Freeman, Sierra Joseph, Taylor McCarter Miah Mollay and Courtney Tinnin, who are all-three-time honorees and juniors Blair Alderson and Devin Marshall.

To be eligible for selection to the Pac-12 All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average, must have been at the school at least one year and be either a starter or significant contributor to the team.
