Dawn Rogers joined the Arizona State University staff in 2006 as Senior Associate Athletics Director and Senior Women’s Administrator. Rogers is the sport administrator for men’s basketball, volleyball, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, gymnastics, water polo, sand volleyball and softball. In addition, she coordinates many of the internal operations for sport administration and student-athlete welfare. Rogers currently serves as the SWAC Chair for the Pac-12 Council and is the conference sport liaison for swimming. She has served on various NCAA cabinets and committees and currently serves the conference on the NCAA Administration Cabinet as part of the Executive Committee.
She joined Xavier in 1998 as the Associate then Senior Associate Athletic Director, where she served as administrator for seven of Xavier's athletic programs and ran all internal operations relative to sports performance. The last two years she served as Athletic Director at Xavier. During her tenure at Xavier, the program achieved unprecedented success in men’s and women’s basketball with both teams reaching the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.
Rogers also spent nine years at the University of Akron as the Assistant Athletic Director, overseeing virtually every department within athletics during her tenure. She began the NCAA Champs/Life Skills program and was actively engaged in shaping programming with the NCAA. She began her career in college marketing, working at The University of Cincinnati as the group and corporate sales coordinator before spending two years at Temple University as the Director of Promotions.
Rogers received her Master's Degree in sports management in 1987 from the University of Massachusetts, after receiving her bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 1986 where she graduated cum laude. She was a collegiate volleyball and track and field student-athlete. Rogers and her husband Rob have two children, Owen and Hazel and live in the South Mountain community of Phoenix.
