Career Overview:

  • After a strong junior campaign the quick and powerful outfielder looks to be a big senior leader in center field for the 2016 season.

Senior (2016):

  • A career .247 hitter entering the year, Soria is batting .333 on the seaon with 17 walks.
  • Has advanced runners 40 times of 70 chances (.571) and is third on the team with 14 hits with runners in scoring position.
  • Is a whopping 21-of-41 (.512) when it comes to reaching as a leadoff batter.
  • Second on the team with eight doubles and is tied for the team lead with 11 home runs this season - five more than her previous single season career best.

  • Leads team with 39 runs scored this season - fourth in the conference.
  • Earned first career Pac-12 Player of the Week for effort in Cal series.
  • Went 7-for-13 on the weekend against Cal with four home runs, slugging an otherworldly 1.462 over the course of three games. Knocked a team-leading six RBI and scored seven runs, four more than any other player on the roster and nearly a third of the total 22 runs scored by the Sun Devils overall.
  • Despite batting at leadoff, Soria was the most potent offensive member of the Sun Devils as they got off to a 6-0 start on the season with an upset of No. 8 Tenneesee.
  • Finished the opening weekend with a .412 batting average (7-of-17) and led the team with eight runs scored.
  • Her 10 RBI on the weekend also paced the team, as did her two home runs and six walks. For good measure, Soria stole three bases and had a couple highlight reel plays in center field.
  • Against No. 8 Tennessee, Soria drew the lone walk of the game from UT ace Erin Gabriel with two outs in extra innings. Soria would steal second immediately and move to third on an infield single before sliding in headfirst for the winning run on a passed ball.

  • Went 2-for-3 with a run scored against Illinois State on Feb. 13th.
  • Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored against New Mexico State on Feb. 22nd. Her leadoff double in the bottom of the seventh started the rally that won the game.
