  • Named a preseason candidate for the Lombardi Award (nation’s most outstanding down lineman or linebacker) and the Outland Trophy (nation’s most outstanding interior lineman) Watch Lists.  
  • Has freakish athleticism and shows strength in the weight room. 

  • Tremendously gifted player with the potential to develop into an athletic, forceful lineman.
  • Very aggressive, tenacious and quick off the snap.

Redshirt Senior (2014):

  • Switched from guard to left tackle this season. 
  • Started all 13 games at left tackle

  • Named to All-Pac-12 First Team and Phil Steele’s All-Pac-12 First Team

  • Invited to the Senior Bowl as well as the NFL Combine

Redshirt Junior (2013):

  • Started every game on the offensive line which brought him to 27 consecutive starts as a Sun Devil.
  • Helped block for Taylor Kelly and Marion Grice during their career years.

Redshirt Sophomore (2012):

  • Started every game on the offensive line, helping to protect quarterback Taylor Kelly and open holes for an explosive running back trio.

  • Matured into a mainstay on the Sun Devil offensive line.

Redshirt Freshman (2011):

  • Saw action in every game.

  • Played a huge role in punt protection.

Freshman (2010):

  • Redshirted on the season.
  • Spent the season as part of the Sun Devil scout team.

High School:

  • A 2010 graduate of Cypress High School in Cypress, Calif.

  • Rated as the No. 65 offensive tackle in the nation by

  • Played tight end/H-back as a senior after primarily being featured at left tackle during the early part of his high school career.

  • Caught three passes for 79 yards and one touchdown on the year...carried four times for 19 yards.

  • Committed to ASU on Dec. 18, 2009.
