High School: A graduate of Fountain Hills High School (Fountain Hills, Ariz.)... won nine tournaments in his wrestling career, including the region event three times... was a three-time state place winner, including runner-up honors as a junior and senior... holds school records for pins in a season (38), career pins (96) and most consecutive wins by pin in a season (38)... in football, earned second-team all-conference as a junior... as a senior, was first-team all-conference twice (strong safety and punter), first-team all-state as a punter and honorable mention as a strong safety... holds school record with four fumble recoveries in a season and led the team in tackles with 45... baseball team won the state championship in 2003...lettered four times in wrestling, three times in football and once in baseball... captained wrestling three times and football twice.
