ASU: Senior defensive specialist that combines with Sydney Donahue for one of the best defensive combinations in the Pac-10... will add depth to the ASU defense saw increased playing time during her junior season... a natural athlete who also played basketball, softball and ran track during high school... one of seven new recruits that formed the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation in 2004.

2006 (Junior): Garnered an All Pac-10 All-Academic Team Honorable Mention...saw action in 30 matches, making 18 starts...had a career season-high 195 digs on the year, good for second highest total on the team...compiled 12 digs against Oregon St. (11/9), her second highest career tally...had five games with double digit digs...had nine service aces on the season.

2005 (Sophomore): Saw action in 25 matches, making four starts...had five games with double digit digs...tallied a career high 13 digs against Stanford (10/14)...also had 13 digs in Tucson against Arizona (11/4)...scored 15 service aces...third on the team with her 184 digs...had a career high three services aces against Arizona (10/7).


2004 (Freshman): Finished her freshman season averaging 1.14 digs per game while seeing action in 24 matches... ranked seventh on the team in digs per game... recorded season-high 10 digs against defending national champion USC (10/30)... recorded one service ace and eight digs in collegiate debut against Florida International (9/3)... had six digs in five-game win over Cal State Fullerton (9/18)... was used as a defensive replacement and server late in most games.

High School: A 2004 graduate of St. Mary's Annapolis in Annapolis, Md... played four years of varsity volleyball and also earned letters in basketball, softball and track... was captain of her volleyball team junior and senior years... also was the captain of the track squad... earned second-team all-county as a freshman and sophomore... was named all-star and all-county as a junior and senior... helped lead St. Mary's Annapolis to a combined 45-26 record during her prep career... earned team MVP honors junior and senior years... played club volleyball for Metro American... helped her club team to the national tournament in 2002 and was named to the all-tournament team in Austin, Texas in 2004... named Player of the Floor at the Penn State camp in 2003.

Personal: Majoring in journalism and mass communications... full name is Alison Lillian Lund... parents are Daryl and Norma Lund of Bowie, Md... has strong Pac-10 bloodlines as both parents and sister (DeLane) attended Washington State University.... earned recognition in high school for her community service... grew up in Northern California and set the record for the 800 meter run for Catholic grade schools... says she loves eating Macaroni and Cheese... born Aug. 31, 1986 in Kirksville, Mo.
