--Here are his five majors victories: the 2004 Masters, 2005 PGA Championship, 2006 Masters, 2010 Masters, 2013 British Open.
--Brother Tim is the men's coach at Arizona State, and boy did they ever have a great season. The Sun Devils were the nation's most improved team.
--Phil had a 72.14 stroke average in his freshman season of 1988-89. How good was Jon Rahm this year? Jon had a 71.37 stroke average.
--Phil won three NCAA titles in 1989, 1990 and 1992. He is one of the five Sun Devils to have won the six NCAA individual titles.
