AUSTIN, Texas—The eighth-ranked Arizona State women’s golf team moves into second place at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Course, Monday. The Sun Devils shot a second-round total of 5-under 283 for a two-day total of 10-under 566. ASU is three strokes off tournament leader UCLA.

Senior Daniela Ordonez, one again, fired off a 2-under 70 in the second round to lead the Sun Devil individually. Ordonez is tied for fifth after two rounds with a total score of 4-under 140 (70-70). Freshman Monica Vaughn shot the lowest round for ASU and the second-best round of the day, carding a career-low 69 to move her into a tie for 11th.

The final round of competition concludes tomorrow at the par-72, 6,143-yard University of Texas Golf Club. The Longhorn Network will air a two-hour tournament feature on Tues., Nov. 5.
