--Richie has one year to play after transferring from Valparaiso after the 2011-12 season and practicing last season in Tempe.
--Averaged 9.4 points per game at Valpariaso in 2011-12, averaging 17.8 minutes per game. Had 12 double-figure scoring games, including 25 vs. Holy Cross (Ind.) on Nov. 14, 2011, and 20 at Cleveland State on Feb. 9, 2012. Shot .486 from the field, .377 from the floor and .792 from the foul line.
--Appeared in the summer of 2012 for New Zealand at the 26thWorld University Games and led New Zealand in scoring and finished third among all tournament players, averaging 20.1 points per game. He cored in double figures six times, including five games of 20+ points, highlighted by a 31-point, nine-rebound effort versus Japan and pulled down five rebounds per game. Averaged 14.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for New Zealand at the 2009 FIBA U19 World Championship.
--Joined New Zealand’s Junior Tall Blacks (U19) in 2005, debuting when he was 14 years old was one of the youngest Junior Tall Blacks in New Zealand history.
--A two-time All-Conference selection for the Hillsborough Hawks and posted 18.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore in 2010-11. He averaged better than 16 points and seven rebounds per contest as a freshman.
--Named a First-Team All-State selection in his senior season with the Lakeland Dreadnaughts and honored as county Player of the Year, as well as Lakeland Ledger Player of the Year, following his final year, where he averaged 17.7 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He helped Lakeland to regional finals as a senior and was a two-time First Team All-County pick.
