Junior Austin Quick shot a bogey-free 6-under 66 and is tied for seventh at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational after two rounds, as the Sun Devils shot a 14-under 274 in the second round.
Quick had played in 83 rounds entering the tournament, and had four rounds in the 60s, and his 66 matched his career-best shot back on April 6, 2012, in the first round of the Thunderbird Invitational. He has 10 birdies through 36 holes.Quick is at 7-under 137 (71-66) while freshman Nicolo Galletti is at 5-under 139 and tied for 12th.
Jon Rahm is at 4-under 140 (72-68) and tied for 18th.
ASU is in fourth place at 18-under 558, just 12 shots behind Cal State Fullerton, which is at 546.
The tournament concludes Wednesday with 18 holes. It marks the final round of the fall season for the Sun Devils, who entered today's round 56-7-1 in head-to-head competition.
