The men's golf team concluded its efficient and effective fall season with a fourth-place finish at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational held at Makai Golf Club (par-72/7,233 yards).
ASU finished 69-10-7 in the fall.
ASU finished fourth at 24-under 840 (284-274-282), as Cal State Fullerton took home first-place honors with a 42-under 822 (272-274-276).
Sophomore Jon Rahm (72-68-67) and junior Austin Quick (71-66-70) both tied for eighth at 9-under 207 to lead ASU.
Rahm continued his incredible run of eagles in his career. He had two in the final round on the par-5 11th (520 yards) and 18th (567 yards) holes. It marked the sixth eagle of the year for Rahm, and 15th in his 61-round career.
How impressive are the 15 eagles in 61 rounds?
Dating back to 1993-94 when Golfstat started tracking college statistics, only three other Sn Devils have 15 eagles in their career. While Rahm has 15 eagles in just 61 rounds, 2003 NCAA champion Alejandro Canizares had 15 eagles in 152 career rounds. Both Scott Pinckey (121 rounds) and Niklas Lemke (151 rounds) had 16 eagles in their career.
Rahm now has 22 rounds in the 60s and has shot par or better 35 times in his career.
In the tournament, Rahm averaged 4.0 strokes on the par-5 holes and shot 12-under. No other player shot better than 9-under.
ASU will next compete in the Hawaii's Amer Ari Intercollegiate Feb. 6-8 at Waikoloa.
