--Arrived at ASU in the early summer of 2013, which enabled him to go on the China trip in August.

--Basketball smarts are off the charts good, seems to be in the right place at the right time and has a chance to be a great defender of three positions in his college career.

--Family includes three younger brothers.

--From tradition-rich Price High School, which produced California's Allen Crabbe and Richard Solomon and Colorado's Askia Booker.

SAYS COACH SENDEK: “He can play multiple positions. He has good ball skills and he’s one of those guys, especially as he develops physically, he’ll be able to guard maybe up to four positions on the court the way that we play. He really, I think, has the capacity to become an excellent defense player. He also has a really good basketball I.Q. He has a good feel for the game. He’s a smart young man.”
