TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Athletics today announced that game times for day one of the Sun Devil women’s basketball team’s annual ASU Classic will be moved up in order to avoid logistical conflicts with Saturday’s Pac-12 Football Championship Game being played at Sun Devil Stadium.
Saturday’s ASU Classic doubleheader at Wells Fargo Arena will begin at 9 a.m. when Long Beach State takes on Harvard in the first game. The Sun Devils will then square off against Sacred Heart in the second game beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Sunday’s game times will remain the same as originally scheduled with Sacred Heart facing Long Beach State or Harvard at noon. ASU will then take on either Long Beach State or Harvard 25 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Both of ASU’s games will be streamed live at http://pac-12.com/videos/arizona-state-university. Saturday's game can be heard live on 1440 AM KAZG and Sunday's contest can be heard on NBC Sports Radio AM 1060.
Currently 6-1, the Sun Devils have won their last five games, including an upset of (then) No. 11 North Carolina at the Cancun Challenge this past weekend. This week’s contests begin a stretch that will see the Sun Devils play four of their final five non-conference games at home.
