OVERVIEW:

  • One of the premier running backs in the West.
  • Brings to ASU an excellent blend of strength, toughness and quickness.
  • Has great burst and a strong lower body to go along with excellent hands out of the backfield.
  • Speedy enough to dash to the sidelines and physical enough to run between the tackles. 

CAREER:

  • Currently 17th nationally and second in the Pac-12 with 149.60 all-purpose yards per game.
  • Became the first running back since North Texas’ Lance Dunbar in 2011 to have over 150 receiving yards and over 100 rushing yards in a single game.

  • Was named the MVP of the Sun Bowl after a career high four touchdowns, two rushing and two receiving touchdowns...His four touchdowns were tied for the most in ASU’s bowl history.

 SOPHOMORE (2015):

  • Was the leading Sun Devil rusher against Texas A&M (9/5) with 73 yards on 16 rushes.
  • Of his 1,040 yards from scrimmage this season, 478 have come after first contact.
  • Had a big game against Cal Poly (9/12) with 121 yards on 25 rushes with two rushing touchdowns, setting career bests in the first two categories and tying his career single game rushing touchdown mark.
  • Had his second consecutive 100+ yard rushing game against New Mexico (9/18), finishing with 104 yards on the ground but added 151 receiving yards on four receptions with two touchdowns, including a 93-yard catch-and-run.
  • Had the first touchdown rush of his career on a 49-yard scamper against UNM
  • Made it three straight games with over 100 rushing yards, rushing for a career best 131 yards with two touchdowns against USC (9/26)
  • Had his fourth 100+ all-purpose yard game of the year against UCLA (10/3), finishing with 134 total yards (79 rushing, 55 receiving)
  • Rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth time this season against Oregon (10/29), finishing with a new career-best 135 yards and a touchdown

  • Played in the 2014 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Carson, California.
  • Product of the same high school that produced former ASU star Derek Hagan, the Pac-10 Conference's career leader in receptions at the conclusion of his Sun Devil career.
  • Carried 503 times for 4,251 yards (8.5 average) with 63 rushing touchdowns over his three-year varsity career.
  • Also caught 29 passes for 563 yards (19.4 avg.) with five touchdowns.
