TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State University football program will host the second annual Sun Devil Youth Football and Cheer Clinic on Saturday, July 19 at the Kajikawa Practice Fields.  The clinic aims to bring the youth community together with Sun Devil Football and Cheer in an effort to build tomorrow’s leaders both on and off the field.
Clinic attendees will have the opportunity to learn football and cheerleading basics from some of ASU’s top football student-athletes and Spirit Squad members.  While football student-athletes run a variety of offensive and defensive drills with boys, the Sun Devil Spirit Squad will run drills for girls.
During the clinic, coaches and parents will have the opportunity to listen to 2013 Pac-12 Coach of the Year Todd Graham and his coaching staff talk about the importance of fostering a dedication to academics and athletics in the youth community.
Along with a $40 admission fee to the Sun Devil Youth Football and Cheer Clinic, participants will receive a ticket to the Pac-12 home opener against UCLA on Thursday, September 25, and a clinic t-shirt.  For a behind the scenes look, tours of Sun Devil Stadium will also be offered to clinic participants after the clinic has ended.
Clinic check in begins at 6:30 a.m. on July 19, and the clinic will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The clinic is open to boys and girls enrolled in the 8th grade or below.  Rising 9th graders are ineligible to register for the clinic.  Registration begins on Tuesday, July 1 at 9:00 a.m.  To register, please visit and enter the code “ASUYOUTH.”  For questions on how to register, call Aaron Ostrovsky at (480) 727-3536.
