Cohort Events are designed to promote a sense of unity and family within graduating classes. Topics of conversation include preparing for a successful transition to college, leadership, community service and continuing to live the Sun Devil Athletics Way. Each class will discuss topics relevant to them.
- Freshmen: Making a successful transition to college, time management identity and Sun Devil tradition.
- Sophomore: Leadership skills, eligibility requirements, declaring a major and living off campus.
- Junior: Preparation for life beyond athletics, resume building, internships, and community service.
- Senior: Resume completion, networking and exploring different career fields.
University 194 (UNI 194) is a comprehensive student-athlete success seminar. The goal of this course is to assist in the transition into the University environment as a student-athlete. This course is designed to promote an understanding of human diversity, leadership, and self-management concepts as they relate to the overall student-athlete success at ASU.
New Student-Athlete Orientation
A focused event introducing new student-athletes to members of the Sun Devil Athletics staff and important resources that will help ease the transition to ASU. New student-athletes will also learn about the history and traditions at ASU.
