LOS ANGELES -- The No. 19 Arizona State Sun Devils (18-4; Pac-12 5-2) women's tennis team will look to round out the back half of the season strong on the road in matches against No. 13 University of Southern California and No. 2 UCLA on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
The weekend of Pac-12 conference play is crucial to ASU moving forward -- the Sun Devils have already picked up five conference wins this season, but could use as many as they can get as both the conference and national tournaments grow closer.
In national rankings, Arizona State jumped four spots from No. 23 to No. 19 after wins over Colorado and Utah.
The doubles pairing of Kassidy Jump and Desirae Krawczyk is ranked No. 85 in the country, while individually, both Desirae Krawczyk and Stephanie Vlad earned rankings.
Krawczyk, a sophomore who consistently plays on the No. 1 singles court, is ranked No. 49 in the country while Vlad is ranked No. 68.
The Sun Devils will take on USC on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. and UCLA on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
