The non-conference dates are set and Pac-12 pairings are completed for Sun Devil men’s hoops this season.
While Pac-12 dates and game times for all games won’t be known until September, we do know that ASU will open its season on Friday, Nov. 14 against Chicago State in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic in Tempe, where the Sun Devils posted a 16-1 mark last year, its best home season in the past 40 years.
The Sun Devils will play Chicago State and then host Bethune Cookman on Nov. 17 as part of the event, before traveling to Kansas City, Missouri, to play two games. Alabama, Maryland and Iowa State also are part of the field, as the bracket will be announced later this summer.
UNLV visits Dec. 3 and Ivy League champion Harvard comes to town on Dec. 28, as the Crimson are favored to win the league and have been to the past three NCAA Tournaments, beating Cincinnati in 2014 and New Mexico in 2013.
ASU will make trips to Texas A&M (Dec. 6) and Marquette (Dec. 16).

ON THE PAC-12 FRONT...
Below is the tentative Pac-12 schedule, but please note that the dates listed are dates that ASU can play either of the teams, with at least one game between each game.
Dates listed are Wednesday through Sunday of that week. While ASU did play a Tuesday game last year, we will list Wednesday through Saturday for summer purposes.
SUN DEVIL PAC-12 PAIRINGS
JAN. 2-4: ASU will open its Pac-12 season at Arizona. The Pac-12 will play all its games on Friday through Sunday the opening weekend to avoid conflict with Jan. 1 holiday. ASU is 8-7 vs. Arizona in the past seven seasons, as the Sun Devils will open its Pac-12 season on the road for the fifth time in the past seven years.
JAN. 7-11: ASU will travel to the Oregon schools the second weekend, which means ASU will open the conference record with three straight road games.
JAN. 14-18: ASU opens its home Pac-12 schedule with Utah/Colorado. ASU has swept Utah and Colorado at home in each of the past two seasons in Tempe. ASU will enter the Pac-12 season on an eight-home league win streak, as it is 32-5 at home in the past two seasons.
JAN. 21-25: The Sun Devils will travel to the Bay Area, where last year it won at California, as ASU swept the Golden Bears for the first time since 1999-2000.
JAN. 28-FEB. 1: The Oregon schools will visit Tempe on Super Bowl weekend.
FEB. 4-8: UA visits Tempe this week after ASU topped the second-ranked Wildcats 69-66 in 2013. ASU has won two of the past three vs. the Wildcats in Tempe.
FEB. 11-15: Last year the Sun Devils didn’t make the Washington trip, but Pullman and Seattle are back on the slate this year.
FEB. 18-22: There is no trip to Los Angeles this year, but USC and UCLA come to Tempe in late February. The last time UCLA traveled to Tempe, ASU sent the eventual Pac-12 champions Bruins home with a 78-60 loss on Jan. 26, 2013.
FEB. 25-MAR. 1: ASU makes the trip to Colorado and Utah for its final road trip of the year.
MAR. 4-7: ASU hosts the Bay Area in the final weekend of the year as it swept the Bay Area homestand for the first time since 1994-95 in 2013-14. With the Pac-12 Tournament starting Wednesday, the league does not schedule Sunday games the final weekend.
