TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's golf team shot a second round score of 296 Saturday to finish the day in fourth place, 17 strokes off the leader, host Stanford, at the Pac-10 Women's Golf Championships in Palo Alto, Calif.
The Cardinal lead the field with a 580 (291-289). USC and Arizona are tied for second with a 594, three strokes ahead of the Sun Devils.
Individually, Stanford's Julie Dunn is in first place after firing a three-under par 69 to finish the day with a 141.
Sophomore Grace Park (Phoenix) shot a two-under par 70 and is in second place, one stroke behind Dunn. Senior Jody Niemann (Rigby, Idaho) is tied for 10th with a 148 (74-74), while senior Tui Selvaratnam shot a 74 and is tied for 20th. Freshman Caroline Laurens (Montpellier, France) is tied for 33rd with a 155 (77-78). Senior Keri Cornelius (Scottsdale) finished the second round tied for 36th with a 156 (78-78).
The final round of the Pac-10 Championships tees off tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
