NORMAN, Okla. -- Arizona State extended its winning streak to eight games with a 10-6, 10-inning victory over 11th-ranked Oklahoma in Norman. All eight wins have come against ranked teams as the 16th-ranked Sun Devils have now won 12 of their last 14. Chuck Crumpton, the last of four ASU pitchers, picked up the win to improve to 3-2.

The Sun Devils ralled from an early 4-0 deficit to stretch the game into extra innings and then loaded the bases with no outs in the extra frame. Casey Myers singled to plate Rudy Arguelles with the go-ahead run before an Oklahoma error and a Michael Collins single extended ASU's cushion.

The Sun Devils had closed the 4-0 gap to 4-3 behind home runs from Dan Meier and Myers. After Oklahoma had stretched the gap to 5-3, a Willie Bloomquist double and Mikel Moreno single pulled ASU into a 5-5 tie.

Arizona State took two of three games from the Sooners this season, splitting a pair played in Tempe earlier in the year. The Sun Devils come home for a three-game weekend series against Six-Pac foe UCLA beginning Friday at Packard Stadium. ASU has won nine straight conference games and is a half-game behind Six-Pac leader Stanford.
