Day one of the NCAA Zone E Championships concluded with three Arizona State divers making the finals. The top three finishers in each event are guaranteed a spot at the NCAA Championships.
Senior All-American Micky Benedetti was the highest placing Sun Devil. The Italian took fourth in the 1-meter. Benedetti scored 309.80 points in the preliminary round and finished the day with 632.25 points total.
Brittany Jumer took seventh in the women's 3-meter. The Minnesotan tallied 556.80 points overall. Senior Erin Hobbs finished 14th with 498.45 points. Cameron Bradshaw also competed in the men's 1-meter, scoring 213.25 points.
The Zone E Championships continue through Saturday.
