Arizona State leftfielder Mitch Jones was named the Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week for his performance this weekend in the Packard Classic.

Jones hit four homeruns in three games while batting .600 (9-for-15) at the plate. Six of his nine hits were for extra bases. He notched 23 total bases for the weekend and a 1.533 slugging percentage. In a 22-4 win over Southern Utah, he set career highs in hits (5) and total bases (13). The 13 total bases ranks third all-time in ASU history for a single game.

On the year, Jones has hit 14 homers in 19 games and is batting at a .364 clip. He leads the team in RBI (34), runs scored (29), slugging percentage (.974) and homeruns (14). He is second in hits with 28.
