TEMPE, Ariz.--Juniors Phill Lowery and Andrew Beinbrink along with sophomore Willie Bloomquist were named to the All-Pacific-10 Southern Division team as announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen today.

Lowery, a lefthanded pitcher from Petaluma, Calif. ended the regular season with an 8-5 record and 4.45 ERA with 87 strikeouts. Beinbrink, the Sun Devils starting thirdbaseman, leads the team in RBI (74), doubles (21) and homeruns (9). He is a two-time all-conference selection. Bloomquist, who has seen time both as in infielder and outfielder in '98, leads the team in batting average (.416), runs scored (73), hits (92), base on balls (53) and stolen bases (29).

Several Sun Devils were named honorable mention selections including senior outfielder Mikel Moreno, junior righthanded pitcher Chuck Crumpton, junior catcher Jeremy Jones, junior lefthanded pitcher Ryan Mills, freshman designated hitter Casey Myers and freshman righthanded pitcher Chad Pennington.
