TEMPE, Ariz. -- Sunday's college baseball game between the University of Texas at Arlington Mavericks and the Arizona State Sun Devils has been cancelled due to wet and unplayable field conditions at Packard Stadium.

Saturday's game between the two teams was also cancelled due to the inclement weather that has slammed the Southwest in recent days. Plans to reschedule the two games are in the works with a likely possibility of the Sun Devils traveling to Arlington sometime in April. Arizona State (0-1) will continue its 2001 schedule Thursday at 7 p.m. with the first of a four game series with Southern Utah (0-0).
