TEMPE, Ariz. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- Fresh off season-opening dual meet victories over UNLV (men) and UNLV/Northern Arizona (women) the Arizona State Sun Devil men's and women's swimming teams both earned No. 11 national rankings in the first College Swim Coaches Association of America top 25 poll.

Led by an NCAA 'A' qualifying time from sophomore All-American ?gnes Kov?cs in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.76) last weekend, the Sun Devil women are looking to improve upon their 10th place finish at the 2001-02 NCAA Championships.

The men return five All-Americans after finishing seventh in the CSCAA poll last year and are off to a strong start after blowing UNLV out of the water in a 216-82 victory last Saturday. Senior backstroker Christian Harcsas won three events (100 back, 200 back, 200 IM) in the UNLV meet and freshman David Kolozar was a double-event winner (200 fly, 200 free) in his first dual meet as a Sun Devil.

Led by fifth-year head coach Mike Chasson, the Sun Devils continue competition this weekend with a pair of dual meets. Both squads will compete against Arizona, Wisconsin and Auburn in Tucson on Saturday, while the men will have double-duty also taking on No. 2 Auburn Sunday at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center at 11 a.m.
