TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona State University baseball team finished another good year in school history in 2001 with a 37-20-1 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the last five years... and plenty of people were there to witness all of the action. The Sun Devils finished 10th in average attendance and 11th in total home attendance when the NCAA released its annual attendance rankings earlier this fall.

In all, 93,732 fans watched the Sun Devils go 25-9-1 in 35 home games at Packard Stadium in 2001. Arizona State was tops of all Pac-10 schools and was the leading school on the West Coast in average attendance (2,757).

ASU improved one spot from the 2000 rankings, improving its average attendance from 2,702 to 2,757. The following is a list of the NCAA Division I attendance leaders for the 2001 season.
