TEMPE, Ariz. - Most Sun Devil fans only know Pat Murphy for his no-nonsense attitude and success on the field. This week, FSN Arizona reveals the softer side of Murph, outside of the baseball diamond. Viewers will be taken on an inside look at his day-to-day life and discover that the Sun Devils' skipper wears many hats as an amateur boxer, Bruce Springsteen fanatic and loving father while raising his two children as a single father in Tempe.
Arizona State University baseball fans will be given an all access look into the personal life of ASU's baseball coach, Pat Murphy on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 10 p.m. & Thursday, March 1, at 6:30 p.m. when FSN Arizona airs the latest installment of Sun Devil Insider.
During the half-hour show, Sun Devil Insider gets a tour of his charming ranch-style home famously known as "The Ditch," visits the set of his Monday night coach's show and chows down with coach Murphy at his favorite Tempe eatery. Ride along as Murph takes his six-year-old son Kai to kindergarten and visit his Sandlot All-Stars little league on Monday nights at ASU's Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark where Kai participates, as does one of Craig Counsell's sons and Charli Turner-Thorne's boys. Sun Devil Insider is alongside the Murphy family on game day at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark as they root for the Devils.
