ASU Cross Country Earns Academic All-American Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University's women's cross country team was named an Academic All-American team by the Women's Intercollegiate Cross Country Coaches Association. The Sun Devils, who appeared in the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history, compiled a 3.23 GPA during the fall semester.

In addition, sophomore Kelly MacDonald earned individual academic All-American honors. MacDonald placed 20th at the NCAA West Regionals and 15th at the Pac-10 Championships while carrying a cumulative GPA of 3.26 in elementary education.
