After nearly three weeks off from action, Arizona State University's Swimming and Diving teams (No. 21 men; No. 24 women) travel to compete in the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas, hosted by the University of Texas.

The event will begin Thursday, Nov. 30, and come to a close on Saturday, Dec. 2, with sessions beginning at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

The No. 21 Sun Devil men's team will compete among a very competitive field consisting of No. 2 Texas, No. 3 Stanford, No. 10 Florida, No. 23 UNLV, UCLA, Wyoming, Wisconsin, TCU, UC-Santa Barbara and Hawai'i.  ASU's No. 24 women's squad will face competition from No. 1 Stanford, No. 6 Florida, No. 9 USC, No. 11 Texas, No. 14 UCLA, No. 18 Wisconsin, UNLV, Wyoming, TCU, Hawai'i and Washington State.

At last year's Texas Invitational, ASU's men's team placed fifth overall (288 points), and the women's squad finished sixth (190 points).  Additionally, ASU's men's and women's teams each recorded team season-best times in nine of 19 swimming events, highlighted by Caitlin Andrew's school-record performance in the 100 free (49.33), swimming the opening leg of the 400 freestyle relay.  Andrew also was the runner-up in the 100 fly and 100 back, and distance freestyle swimmer Sarah Fischer finished within the top-five in both the 500 and 1650 freestyle events. Lucas Azevedo led the charge for the men's team, breaking into top-five finishers in the 500 free.  In total, nine individuals and one relay team recorded NCAA qualifying times at the event.
