Micky Benedetti Wins One Meter at Ohio State Invitational

The ASU men and women's diving teams saw success at the Ohio State Invitational. Micky Benedetti defended his Ohio State 1-meter springboard title by taking first again. Earning a score of 374.80, Benedetti defeated fifteen tough opponents to keep his title, as well as achieve an NCAA automatic qualifying score.

Freshman Brittany Jumer finished seventh on the three meter. Her score of 263.70 was an NCAA consideration score. Erin Hobbs also competed for the Sun Devils. She finished 10th in the three meter with an NCAA consideration score of 257.80.

The men will compete in the three meter while the women will take the one meter tomorrow. The preliminaries begin at one.
