Last Time in the Zone
At last season's zones, Micky Benedetti won the platform and 3-meter. He placed fourth in the 1-meter. Brittany Jumer was just shy of qualifying for the NCAA Championships as she placed fifth in the 3-meter and platform.
One of the finest divers in ASU's prestigious diving history, Micky Benedetti looks to claim his third straight Zone E Platform Championship and second-straight 3-meter one. Benedetti won the 3-meter at the Pac-10 Championships and took third in the 1-meter. A six-time All-American, Benedetti will look to make the NCAA Championships one final time.
Redshirt-freshman Cameron Bradshaw will make his first trip to the Zone E Championships. Bradshaw has put up solid scores throughout the season. At the Pac-10 Championships, he earned a spot in the final of the 1-meter, placing sixth overall.
The Arizona State women's diving team will send two to the NCAA Zone E meet. Erin Hobbs will make her fourth and final appearance while Brittany Jumer will head there for her second straight year. Jumer had a solid outing at the Pac-10 Championships. She placed fourth on the 3-meter with 305.55 points and sixth on the 1-meter. Hobbs will attempt to qualify for her first NCAA Championships since her freshman season.
