TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State baseball, featuring a trio of preseason first-team all-conference selections, will host the 2012 Alumni Game at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark on Saturday, Feb. 11. First Pitch will be at 1 p.m. (MST) for the exhibition contest between the 2012 Sun Devil baseball team and a team made up of alumni players.
The Alumni Weekend festivities begin on Friday with the annual Alumni Golf Tournament and will conclude with the 2012 Alumni Game. Fans interested in purchasing season tickets will have the opportunity to Select-A-Seat. For those who have already bought 2012 season packages, they will be mailed out the week of Jan. 23, but will be available for pick-up at the Alumni Game upon request. Admission to the Alumni Game is free.
"For the past couple of seasons we have received a tremendous turnout from both the fans and the Alumni," Head Coach Tim Esmay said. "Everyone in attendance had a great time and this year will be no different. This is just a great event for our fans and for our former players to be a part of."
Following the game, the 2012 Sun Devils will sign autographs for the fans in attendance.
The Sun Devils open the 2012 season by hosting a three-game series against Western Michigan from Feb. 17-19 at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.
