LIVE SCORING

MAUI, Hawai'i--Led by sophomore Noemi Jimenez career-low tying 67, the No. 14 Arizona State sits alone in third place after the first round of competition at the 2013 Anuenue Spring Break Classic. The Sun Devils shot a first-round total of 1-over 289, just four shots off first-place Pepperdine.

Jimenez shot a 67 in the first round of competition, tying her career low she shot earlier in the fall in the opening round of the Dale McNamara Invitational. The sophomore recorded seven birdies on the day, including four in her final five holes to tie for first overall with Pepperdine's Grace Na. Jimenez is coming off back-to-back tournament victories at the Cal Classic and Darrius Rucker Invitational and is the first Sun Devil to accomplish the feat since 2005.

Junior Laura Blanco shot a 1-over 73 in the first round of competition to tie for 18th heading into the second round, while junior Daniela Ordonez is tied for 24th overall after shooting a 2-over 74 on day one. Returning from injury, junior Justine Lee shot a first round total of 78 and is tied for 62nd. Lee was named an honorable mention All-American in 2012 and was named the NCAA All-West Region team.

The second round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic continues tomorrow at the par-72, 6,036-yard Kapalua Bay Course.
