Freshman (2013): 

  • Made 11 appearances, including one start
  • Finished with a 4.05 ERA and a 2-1 record
  • Struck out 17 with eight walks in 20 innings pitched
  • Threw a season-high five innings and struck out a season-high six in his first career start, a win over then-No. 2 Arkansas
  • Did not pitch from March 17 until May 12 due to injury
  • Threw one scoreless inning with two strikeouts in a win in his first appearance back from injury against Cal May 12
  • Allowed two hits in 1.2 scoreless innings against Cal State Fullerton June 1 in his first NCAA Regional action
  • Earned Scholar Baller recognition in Spring 2013
  • Competed for the Newport Gulls of the New England Collegiate League this summer
