A WEEK AGO: Arizona State traveled down I-10 to Tucson to face the University of Arizona and came away with its third straight win of the season, defeating the Wildcats 2-1. After not scoring in the first half and only posting five shots, ASU came out fired up in the second half and put up two scores. At the 71:55 mark, freshman Jaclyn Clark took a rebound from a shot and put in the goal with an assist from sophomore Sarah Blaska. Twelve minutes later, freshman Karine Inoue scored the game-winner with assists from freshman Antoinette Marjanovic and Jaclyn Clark. Inoue's goal was her second in as many games and leads the team in goals (2) and points (4). The Sun Devils' stingy defense allowed Arizona only nine shots, while ASU tallied 17 on the night.
