High School: A 2005 graduate of North Mesquite High School (Mesquite, Texas)... was named a 2005 Top 100 U.S. high school recruit by Soccer Buzz magazine... a four-year letterwinner in soccer... was voted to the All-District first-team on four occasions... was the 2001-2002 5A District 12 MVP, as voted on by head coaches, after leading North Mesquite to a 23-5 record and scoring 21 goals... also won the 2001-2002 Garland Invitational MVP... scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 shutout over rival school Tyler Lee in the 2002 Texas 5A Regional playoffs... finished second in the district with 26 goals during the 2003-2004 season after leading her team to a 19-3 record... was named the 2004 Alamo Cup tournament MVP in 2004... was named to the `Girl Athletes to Watch' list by the Dallas Morning News in 2004-2005... was named a team captain for the 2004-2005 season... following the 2004-2005 season, was named first-team All-Region, first-team All-State, and second-team All-Metro... played for the Sting '87 club team, which won its regional tournament four times and earned a third-place finish in the national tournament on three occasions.
