TEMPE, Ariz. – Single-game tickets for Arizona State University’s home game with No. 25 USC on Sept. 28 at Sun Devil Stadium will go on sale this week.
The Sun Devils’ first home Pac-12 contest of the season is the second annual Maroon Monsoon game, and also Sun Devil Club Night and Family Weekend. Following last season’s success against Illinois, fans are encouraged to once again wear maroon and help get the word out via social media using the hashtag #MaroonMonsoon.
“Hosting a traditional rival of USC’s caliber always makes for an exciting game, and being able to celebrate our Sun Devil family, both immediate and extended, makes it that much more meaningful,” Vice President for University Athletics Steve Patterson said.
Sun Devil Club members and subscribers of Devils’ Insider can purchase tickets now, and they will become available to followers of Sun Devil Athletics’ social media outlets on Wednesday before being offered to the general public on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day at sundeviltickets.com, via phone at (480) 965-5812 or at the Sun Devil Stadium Ticket Office, located on the south side of Sun Devil Stadium at 500 East Veterans Way in Tempe. Sun Devil Club Night
Sun Devil Club Night honors those who are dedicated to creating our competitive advantage, supporting our student-athletes and enhancing our community. The winners from the Sun Devil Club 2013 Camp Tontozona Invitational Golf Tournament will also be recognized.
The Sun Devil Club is a community-owned organization focused on the funding and support of Sun Devil Athletics. Every membership in the Sun Devil Club helps to provide for the academic and athletic pursuits of more than 500 student-athletes in 22 varsity sports. SDA’s ability to consistently meet the scholarship needs of its teams and coaches will be the deciding factor in its success as an athletic department in the years ahead.
ASU has finished in the top 15 of the Directors’ Cup 14 times in the 20-year history of the ranking, which measures overall athletics success, and has also produced 62 Academic All-Americans since 2000, which is seventh best in the nation. However, the budget for SDA is the lowest of any consistent Directors’ Cup Top 25 program and ranks in the bottom third in the Pac-12 in both total revenue and annual donations.
Joining the Sun Devil Club gives fans access to pre-sale tickets, invitations to special events and much more. Visit sundevilclub.com to become a part of the solution.
Sun Devil Family Weekend
Family weekend is an opportunity for students and parents to explore ASU and the university’s traditions as part of the Sun Devil Family. Register here to show your Sun Devil Pride on gameday and partake in the family weekend tailgate.
There will also be a special VIP event with representatives from the Athletic Department hosted at Gordon Biersch on Friday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. For more information please contact Nick Deutcsh at (480) 727-3521.
A limited number of single-game tickets for both the team’s Sept. 5 season opener against Sacramento State and the annual Blackout game against No. 21 Wisconsin on Sept. 14 are still available. There are several ways to buy tickets earlier than the on-sale dates for the remaining five home games, including becoming a season ticket holder.
Season ticket holders can currently purchase discounted single-game tickets at any time other than on the day of each game.
Tickets start as low as $25 or buy a Raising Cane’s Family Tailgate Pack, which includes four single-game tickets and four Raising Cane’s meal vouchers. Group rates for more than 15 people can also be purchased. The special $10 section is no longer available.
Be sure to arrive early each game for the second year of Devil Walk, which begins 2 hours 15 minutes before kickoff inside Wells Fargo Arena, and will once again feature the 2013 team, the highly acclaimed ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, special videos and highlights, and more.
Students who are not season ticket holders will have the option to buy single-game tickets beginning the week before each home game. Click here to learn more about Sun Devil Student Season Tickets, which includes all home football and men’s basketball games, as well as other benefits.
