A: The seating in the upper deck of the North end zone, sections 220-228 will be removed. The current plan won’t impact the North end zone loge area, lower bowl seating and upper concourse at this time.

A: No, although the removal of the North end zone would be required for a full-scale stadium renovation, this is a solo project not tied to the renovation. It provides us with flexibility for future planning and is a step in our improvement program.
Q: How will this impact capacity?
A: The removal of sections 220-228 will reduce the capacity of Sun Devil Stadium to approximately 66,000 seats. Our average attendance for 2012 was 59,672 so this change will not impact our ability to accommodate all season ticket holders for every game and single-game purchasers for most games.
Q: Is there a plan to replace these sections in the future?
A: At this point, we do not anticipate replacing those sections in Sun Devil Stadium.
Q: I am a season ticket holder in one of the affected sections, what do I do?
A: Current season ticket holders in upper level North end zone sections 220-228 will retain their seat locations for the 2013 season but will be notified and contacted by their service rep prior to the 2014 renewal campaign in order to choose a new location. Season ticket holders that lose their seats due to the removal of the north end zone will receive a one-season (2014) upgrade. They will be moved up one price level for next season to the light gray seating, but they will only pay the green seating price. The upgrade will provide fans with the choice to sit in the lower level end zone or the upper level sideline.
Q: How many season ticket holders will need to be relocated?
A: There are a total of 348 season ticket account holders in sections 220-228 that will need to be relocated to other areas of Sun Devil Stadium.
Q: Where will the Sun Devil Marching Band go?
A: Only the upper level North end zone seats from section 220-228 are being removed, the Sun Devil Marching Band, located in the lower level section 19, will not be impacted.
Q: My section is impacted; can I move my seats this year instead of waiting until 2014?
A: If you wish to relocate prior to the season, we will be happy to assist you with that process. Please contact your personal ticket representative at 480-965-5333 and they will be able to assist you.
Q: Will the construction force Pat’s Run to be cancelled?
A: No, we are expecting to host Pat’s Run at ASU. We will likely have to slightly change the course to accommodate the construction.
Q: Will the construction impact commencement in Sun Devil Stadium?
Accommodations to allow for ASU Commencement will be made during the demolition to ensure the event can take place as planned, though north end zone access may be limited to ensure safety.
