Less Than 5,000 Tickets Remain, Fans Encouraged To Arrive Early For Pac-12 Football Championship Dec. 7, Participate In ‘Gold Friday’

TEMPE, Ariz. – Less than 5,000 tickets remain for the Pac-12 Football Championship Game against Stanford on Dec. 7 at 5:45 pm MT at Sun Devil Stadium, and fans are advised to arrive early to avoid will call lines and traffic due to the Mill Avenue Arts Festival.

The Sun Devil Ticket Office is extending its hours of operation by two hours and will be open from 9 am-7 pm on Friday, Dec. 6, for fans to purchase or pick up tickets at will call. The ticket office will remain open for anyone who is remaining in line after 7 pm.

Please allow enough time to get to Sun Devil Stadium before kickoff at 5:45 pm MT as several streets in Tempe will be closed on Dec. 7 for the annual Mill Avenue Arts Festival. More info can be found here.

Fans are encouraged to wear GOLD for “Gold Friday” on Friday, Dec. 6, and don’t miss the final Devil Walk of the season on Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 2:45 pm MT inside Wells Fargo Arena.  

"Our fans have been vital to our success at home this season,” head coach Todd Graham, the 2013 Pac-12 Coach of the Year, said. “It was our goal all season to compete for the Conference Championship in front of all of Sun Devil Nation.”

Fans are also encouraged to allow plenty of time to get into the stadium and to use the North gates due to enhanced security. 

Limited quantities of seats in the lower bowl, loge and endzone are available, and tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day at, via phone at (480) 965-5333 or at the Sun Devil Stadium Ticket Office, located on the south side of Sun Devil Stadium at 500 East Veterans Way in Tempe. Send in pictures of yourself participating in GOLD Friday, either at work, on campus and around the globe, and Sparky and the Spirit Squad will also be on the Tempe Campus looking for the most Gold spirit.

Join Sun Devil Nation and the Sun Devil Marching Band at Devil Walk at 2:45 pm to celebrate the 2013 football team and watch the latest Territorial Cup episode of the Pac-12 Networks “The Drive,” which will air at 2:50 pm before the team arrives at 3:15 pm.

The following street closures will occur from Dec. 5-Dec. 9 due to the Mill Avenue Arts Festival 

• Mill Ave will be closed in both directions between University Dr. and 3rd St. 

• 5th St. will be closed in both directions between Ash Ave. and Myrtle Ave. 

• 7th St will be closed in both directions at Mill Ave. Local traffic only will be permitted west of Myrtle Ave. 

Football Banquet

Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 Sun Devil Club Football Banquet on Dec. 14 at the JW Marriott at Camelback Inn in Scottsdale. The event, which sold out last year, begins at 5 p.m. with a reception and silent auction before the ceremony starts at 6 p.m. 

The 2013 Sun Devil football team will hand out their annual team awards, which include the Frank Kush Captains Award, the Pat Tillman Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and the Tim Landers Iron Man Award, and all 25 of the team’s seniors will be honored, including two-time Pac-12 Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year Will Sutton, running back Marion Grice, tight end Chris Coyle and safety Alden Darby.

The three newest members of the Sun Devil Ring of Honor, including Leon Burton, Al Harris and Mike Richardson, will also be recognized during the ceremony.

The banquet’s silent auction will include team merchandise, vacation and golf packages, restaurant certificates, and 2013-14 athletic events and experiences. The grand prize of last year’s live auction was a trip for two to the team’s game vs. Notre Dame in Dallas and included travel on the team charter and sideline passes, among other things.

Maroon - $1,500 for a table of 10 guests

Gold – $2,000 for a table of eight guests and two football student-athletes

Premium – $5,000 for a table for eight guests and an Assistant Coach or ASU Administrator
