MALIBU, Calif.--Coming off a weekend of rest, the No. 26 Arizona State Sun Devils (6-1; Pac-12 0-0) women's tennis team will compete against Pepperdine University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday in Malibu, Calif.

"We're going to be taking on two very good teams this weekend and we are looking forward to competing again after having last weekend off from competition," ASU head coach Sheila McInerney said.

After falling to Northwestern three weeks ago, thus failing to qualify for tournament play this past weekend, the Sun Devils will enter the weekend coming off of three wins from the last time they competed.

ASU will face the Pepperdine Waves on Saturday afternoon at 11 a.m. PST and UNLV Sunday afternoon at the same time.

In individual rankings, sophomore Stephanie Vlad dropped from No. 50 in the country to No. 73. No Arizona State doubles pairings have earned a national ranking yet this year.
