Purchasing season tickets will give fans first opportunity and priority at selecting seats at Phoenix Municipal Stadium in 2015.

The Devils play four games nthis week, including a midweek tilt against New Mexico Feb. 18 at 6:30 pm at Packard Stadium, and three games in Southern California. The Devils face Long Beach State in Long Beach, Calif., on Feb. 21 at 6 pm PT before taking on UC Irvine in Irvine, Calif., Feb. 22 at 1 pm PT and Wright State in Long Beach Feb. 23 at 1 pm PT.

Tip Your Cap To Packard Stadium
To celebrate the 40th and final historic season in Packard Stadium, all seven home weekend baseball series’ during the 2014 “Tip You Cap To Packard” season are dedicated to honoring a different decade or aspect of Packard Stadium and Sun Devil Baseball’s storied legacy.

Feb. 14-16: 2000s at Packard Stadium
March 7-9: 1990s at Packard Stadium
March 14-16: 1980s at Packard Stadium
April 4-6: 1970s and opening of Packard Stadium
April 11-13: Foundation of Sun Devil Baseball (Pre-1974)
May 16-18: 40 years of Packard Stadium

Voting is open for the All-Packard Team
Sun Devil Baseball, the Arizona Republic and azcentral.com have partnered to let the fans decide their top players from the Packard Era. From Feb. 14 through the end of April, go to sundevils.azcentral.com and vote for your favorite players.

Ballots will also be available at Packard on gamedays. On Friday, May 9 we will celebrate the “All-Packard Stadium Team” and a trading card set of the players selected to the All-Packard Team will be given to fans as they enter the gates.

Sun Devil Stars of the Week

Balanced Hitting
  • Seven different Sun Devils registered a hit over the weekend, including 10 with at least two, and 12 recorded an RBI, including seven with at least two
  • Junior outfielder Trever Allen fell a triple short of hitting for the cycle on Friday night and finished the weekend with four hits, four runs scored and a home run
  • Junior infielder Tucker Esmay, freshman catcher Brian Serven and sophomore infielder Dalton DiNatale each tallied three RBI to lead the team
  • No Sun Devil started all three games, seven Sun Devils made their first career appearances at ASU and six started their first career games
Pitching Depth
  • Sophomore left-hander Brett Lilek struck out a career-high seven batters, including five of the first seven he faced, and scattered just two hits across four scoreless inning on Sunday
  • Sophomore right-hander Eric Melbostad retired the final 12 batters of the game to earn his first career win on Saturday and also notched his first two career strikeouts in a career-long four innings of work
  • Four pitchers made their first career appearances for the Devils, including true freshmen Hever Bueno and Eder Erives, redshirt freshman Nick Diamond and junior Cory Bernard
  • Junior Darin Gillies allowed just two baserunners in three relief innings on Friday and senior Zak Miller earned the win on Sunday after allowing three hits in two frames
