TEMPE - Ready to strike after falling twice the weekend prior, the No. 23 Arizona State Sun Devils (16-4; Pac-12 3-2) women's tennis team will host No. 73 Colorado and No. 30 Utah on Friday and Saturday at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz.
Saturday's match against No. 30 Utah will be broadcasted on national television on the Pac-12 Network. This is the first time Pac-12 crews will be broadcasting from the Whiteman Tennis Center since the creation of the new network.
The two matches mark just about the halfway point for the final quarter of the regular season schedule, with just three conference opponents remaining in the lineup after Saturday.
Arizona State has done considerably well so far, clinching three conference wins and sharing a fifth place spot on the conference rankings with the University of Arizona.
Colorado comes to Tempe with an 8-10 overall record -- but win less in conference play, dropping six matches so far. Most recently CU defeated Tulane at home 4-0.
Utah has faired a bit better, they're 11-6 on the season and 2-4 in Pac-12 conference play. They'll take on the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz. before traveling to Tempe on Saturday.
Play against Colorado will start at 1:30 p.m MST Friday afternoon. Saturday's matchup will begin at 10:30 a.m. MST
