WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Fifteen members of the Arizona State men and women’s swimming and diving teams received Pac-12 All-Academic honors as announced on Wednesday by Commissioner Larry Scott. The eight men and seven women represent the Sun Devil athletes who achieved a minimum 3.0 grade point average while competing as starters or significant contributors.
On the men’s side, three members made First Team with an average GPA of 3.74. Included in this trio is senior David Adalsteinsson, who notched his third consecutive First Team honor studying architecture. The ASU men also landed three on the Second Team with an average GPA of 3.46, and two on Honorable Mention.
For the women, two swimmers earned First Team accolades with an average GPA of 3.93, including a perfect 4.00 for Miranda Tornatore who studies business sustainability. Tristin Baxter earned second-team honors, while four Sun Devils received Honorable Mention nods.
