WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Arizona State sophomore golfer Jon Rahm has been named to the All-Pac-12 First Team, the Pac-12 announced Monday. The Pac-12 golf awards and the All-Pac-12 Team are voted on by conference head golf coaches.

Austin Quick also had his 2013-14 success on the course rewarded, as the junior was named to Honorable Mention just one day after placing as the top Sun Devil finisher at the Pac-12 Championship.

Rahm put together a historic season for ASU thus far, and had a 70.13 stroke average heading into the Pac-12 Championship, the fifth-best single-season scoring mark in Sun Devil history since 1987-present.

Rahm’s most impressive performance came at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, where he shot a 21-under par 192. The score broke the school’s 54-hole final score record as well as the Thunderbird Invitational record.

Through 80 rounds at Arizona State, Rahm has sunk a total of 21 eagles. Dating back to 1993-94 when Golfstat began tracking college statistics, Rahm’s mark of 21 eagles already has surpassed any other Sun Devil golfer in a long list of memorable names.
