CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.—Arizona State junior Noemi Jimenez has earned first-team All-American honors, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association announced Thursday.  Jimenez led the Sun Devils to a fifth place finish at the 2014 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships and finished third in the Golfstat Cup with a scoring average of 71.32 through 37 rounds.

Named to the All-Pac-12 first team, Jimenez had a stand out season for the Sun Devils. Jimenez recorded seven top-five finishes in the 12 tournaments in which she competed this season, which culminated in winning the individual title at the NCAA West Regional.

Jimenez is head coach Melissa Luellen’s 12th athlete to earn All-American honors, for a total of 20 All-American honors since Luellen began coaching in 2003.
