--Sun Devil golf alumnus Scott Pinckney played in 40 events from 2007-2011 as a Sun Devil and had a 72.66 career stroke average, including 19 rounds in the 60s and 50 rounds of par or better in his 121 rounds.

--A native of Anthem, Ariz., Pinckney was in the first graduating class at Boulder Creek High School (2007) where he was MVP of the golf team and took state two years running.
--He tied for 13th at the 2009 NCAA Championship and also tied for third at the 2009 ASU Thunderbird Invitational, earning honorable mention All-America honors that season. He had three top-10 finishes in 10 events and a 73.12 stroke average.
--He led the team with a 71.89 scoring average in 2010-11 en route to first-team All-Pac-10 honors and collected a career-high five top-10 finishes that year. He placed in the top-10 in four consecutive tournaments to begin the spring season; tied for sixth at the Ameri Ari Invitational, tied for 10th at The Battle at the Beach, took second at the USC Collegiate Invitational and tied for ninth at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters.
