Last Time Out For The Sun Devils
Arizona State recorded the second of back-to-back shutouts last weekend against ACHA Arizona, this time with Robert Levin shutting the door on every chance leading to a 6-0 win. Joe Lappin scored a hat trick for the Sun Devils, the second of the season. It was the 49th victory in the last 50 meetings against the rival Wildcats in what will be the final installation of the rivalry. Coach Greg Powers has never lost in a Tucson, a perfect 25-0.

Last Time Out For USNTDP
The US National Team Development Program U-18 team competed in the U-18 Five Nations tournament two weeks ago, going 2-0-1-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L), knocking off the Czech Republic and Finland, falling to Russia and falling in a shootout to Sweden. In the final game against the Czech Republic, Kieffer Bellows had a goal and two assists, while Jake Oettinger had 14 saves in the 5-3 victory.

Coach Powers On Facing USNTDP
“We are thrilled to welcome in the USNTDP to Arizona State. We really believe this is a great weekend for hockey in Arizona to welcome in some of the best young talent in the world for Valley hockey fans to see. I’m also excited for our players that in a hybrid NCAA season, our guys get to play against such elite talent. This will be a great experience for everyone involved in our program."

Against The USNTDP
Sun Devil Hockey has never played the US National Team and it is the first time ASU will play any team that is not associated with a college.
